Welcome! This is the first posting of many in 5th, 6th and 7th Periods' Class Reading Blog. Today's goal is to get you acquainted with blogging.
Remember from our activity in class a few weeks ago, where we simulated a blog after reading a poem. Each person responded or commented on the poem which was considered a post. You exchanged papers (using the basketball hoop/basket) with a classmate and read that person's paper, after which you commented again. (We repeated this several times.)
From that activity, I hope you remember that once you enter our online class blog, you FIRST READ the posting(s) and previous comments and THEN respond by adding a comment. How many of you have your own blog?
If so, how do you use it?
What is its purpose?
If no, what blog would you create?

Welcome!
You have entered our class blog. You will use this blog throughout the rest of the year to see class news as well as to post comments on various tasks that I will assign to you. You have encounterd many new things as your first year in middle school. Hopefully, you have learned how to successfully change classes in only three minutes and to open your own locker. The looming idea of having seven different teachers is now gone. Let's continue in building our classroom reading community and in our growth as lifelong readers.

I would not make a blog
I don't have a blog but if i did i would use it for something like a calendar. I would tell and decribe what inmportant events i was doing on that day. If i did have a blog its purpose would to be tell everyone the inportant events that i would be doing on certain days. I would creat a calendar blog.

i use mine by talking to my friends and family. the porpose is to talk to your friends and have an awsome profile.

I do have a blog for my friends on yahoo mesanger.It has hearts for everyone is welcome to my Yahoo mesenger.I have different back grounds for what I whant it to be.I have a best friend on Yahoo mesenger.I have to be at home to go to Yahoo mesenger.I get lucky sometimes just for geting on Yahoo mesenger.I can realy put someone to sleep just from typing a lotr of words.I got a new friend that gets on Yahoo mesenger.i also got a blondy as a friend.I got other friends though to.
